Epoxy/Poly Floor Coating FAQs

Most other coating companies use epoxy resin as the topcoat instead of polyurethane. Which is better?

As a topcoat, polyurethane is superior to epoxy resin. Polyurethane offers improved durability, contaminant resistance, maintenance, and gloss.

Are you able to apply your floor coatings to vertical surfaces?

Yes. Unlike other coating companies, we possess a great deal of experience in coating vertical surfaces, such as steps and floor rims.

Are the finished floors slippery?

No. We apply a non-skid material that provides appropriate traction to the final coat.

How long does it take you to install your floor coatings?

It takes us four days to install a granite-look floor coating and three days to install a solid-color floor coating. Both styles of floors can withstand light foot traffic one day after installation and vehicle traffic three to four days after installation.

What can I do with the contents of my garage while you are installing my floor coating?

If you do not have a suitable location for storing your belongings, for an additional charge, we offer an enclosed trailer that we will leave on your property. In addition, we will move your belongings for an hourly charge.
